Koenders Air Compressor Windmill
This is the Koenders Windmill Air Compressor -- with
a pulley in place of the windmill blades. The "Pivot Tube" slides through
the mounting holes on the back of the Air Compressor.
The Blue Thing This Blue Tower Top is solid plastic with a 2 inch diameter
hole down the center. It is attached to the top four foot section of
the Koenders galvanized steel windmill tower.
To mount the Koenders Windmill Assembly on top
of a Windmill Tower -- lubricate the inside of the Tower Top two inch diameter
hole, and then slide the "Pivot Tube" attached to the Windmill Air Compressor
Assembly down into the Tower Top hole. The whole Windmill Air Compressor
Assembly rests on top of the Blue Tower Top. The Pivot tube can turn inside
the Tower Top, and thus the Windmill Assembly can rotate in any direction.
At the bottom of the Pivot Tube is an air line fitting that twists inside
the air line as the windmill Assembly turns or rotated depending on the
direction of the wind.
The top four foot section of the galvanized steel
tower legs are screwed into the Blue Tower Top.
This is the top 4 ft. tower section is attached to
the blue tower top. If you can rig this section to another tower,
it work to mount the Windmill air compressor assembly.
Buy a Windmill | but NO Tower If you already have your own windmill tower, you may be able to mount
the Koenders Windmill Air Compressor on your won tower. The Koenders
part called the "Pivot Tube" fits through the blue thing, and so you could
use any mount with a 2 inch diameter that was the same length as the blue
thing.
A sealed Thrust Bearing can be place between the
Blue Thing and windmill assembly.

| Needle roller and cage thrust assemblies are complements of
small diameter needle rollers arranged in a spoke-like configuration. Needle
rollers are equally spaced by means of a cage whose web section separates
the rollers and provides guidance to keep them tracking in an orbital path.
The
purpose of these assemblies is to transmit a thrust load between two relatively
rotating objects while greatly reducing friction.
