The Winter Duck Pond Project The Koenders Windmill Aeration System set-up at a remote pond
site can keep an area of water from 10 to 20 feet in diameter free of ice,
and thus may attract ducks to ponds during the winter. We'll see if it
works. We're working on a Duck Pond Project near Morris, Illinois and we
plan to put up some related photos on the site soon. Aeration during winter
months will greatly improve water quality in the spring. Ponds need as
much oxygen as they can get.
