Put a few gallons of an alcohol product -- preferably Ethanol Alcohol | see: Ethanol
Alcohol | into the white tank. The Windmill or Electric Aerator pumps air into your farm pond through the airline to the aeration stone oxygenizing your water.
If an obstruction occurs in your air line -- blocking
the air flow -- due to condensation droplets freezing in the line, your freeze control should start to work.
When pressure in the line builds up enough pressure to
open the valve, the spring loaded valve at the bottom of the freeze control
tank opens releasing a small about of ethanol alcohol into the air line
as needed, allowing the line to clear -- alcohol is a de-icer.
Once the line clears the pressure is released causing
the valve to close again. The control constantly checks line pressure and when
the line is blocked and moisture starts to freeze the control valve opens
and feeds ethanol alcohol into the line until the ice melts and the pressure
drops and the valve closes.
Electric Aerator: Attach the freeze control close to the
electric Aerator.
Windmill: Attach the freeze control to the lower windmill
tower legs so you can easily monitor the gauge and fill the alcohol tank.
OPTIONAL FREEZE CONTROL: Due to moisture in the air
all compressors can have problems with frozen air lines. The moisture
condenses and freezes in the line which is very hard on the compressor.
The Koenders Freeze Control Tank is a self regulating air pressure detection system that helps eliminate
line freeze up and ensures continuous operation by monitoring line air
pressure. When ice is detected in the line, ethanol alcohol is fed in the
air line to melt the ice. When the ice melts, line pressure drops, closing
the valve and resuming standard operation.
The system is available for the new Free Air Windmill,
the Original Windmill and the Electric Aerator. The Freeze Control unit
consists of a 2 1/2 gal. capacity plastic alcohol tank, with a pressure
release valve and a pressure gauge.
