Methane recovery is the process of trapping methane gas from manure and other organic materials. The process eliminates odor and captures energy that can be used for electricity.
A typical Methane Conversion Project
will consist of:
-- digester,
-- gas handling, and
-- gas use.Each of these components can have varying degrees of complexity associated with them.
For technologies that are simpler, such as covered lagoons and odor control flares, perhaps only an equipment supplier would be needed.
For biogas technologies that are relatively complex, such as heated digesters, engines, and boilers a “turn key” digester development company may be a preferred approach.
