SMART UPGRADES
Bob Mitchell has inserted a Thrust Bearing between the "pivot tube" and the
top of the Koenders "Blue Thing" -- a bright idea to allow the air compressor
| windmill blades | and tail fin | to turn with less friction on the Koenders
Windmill Tower.
Any thrust bearing will work with an I.D. identical to the tube. They come either sealed or open. Open is better for greasing. They cost about $16.00 each. The Thrust Bearing fits at the top of Blue Tower Top
-- and below the Air Compressor plate. It looks like brown string in the
photo above for some unknown reason.
