Watergardening is one of the fastest growing segments of the gardening industry. Most insiders agree that it is only the tip of the iceberg. Many ponds take up entire backyards with filter systems built under decks and in separate out-buildings. The technology they use in Europe is years ahead of what North Americans use. Take for example their use of ozenators and massive filter systems, some being the size of small rooms. Almost all ponds contain Koi, many worth thousands of dollars each.
