Koenders Saddle Float and Anchor Bracket
Here is the new Koenders Saddle Float and Anchor Bracket accessory for
stabilizing the SW16 Water Pump under water.
Installation
Position the Saddle Float and Anchor Bracket so that when the pump is pulled
under water the SW16 Water Pump will float in a horizontal position with filled
with water. An Anchor Weight of at least 75 to 80 lbs. or more is needed to hold
the SW16 Water Pump under the water. Attach a nylon rope to the Anchor Bracket
on the SW16 Water Pump. If the anchor weight has a loop on it, run the nylon
rope down through the loop on the anchor weight and bring the end of the rope
back to the shore. You can then adjust the height of the SW16 Water Pump
from the shore by pulling on the nylon rope.
Koenders SW16 | Shallow Water Pump
When shallow water conditions are prevalent, the Koenders SW16 maintains
the ability to pump water to where you need it. The horizontal design allows
you to pump down to 12" of depth and produce up to 10 liters per minute. The
SW16 is 22" long x 9" dia. It must be submerged in a minimum of 1.5 ft.
of water to operate effectively.

Koenders LD8
When you have plenty of depth and require a long horizontal run,
the LD8 can pump up to 2 gal. per min. With a PVC outer casing, only
3 moving parts and brass check valves, the LD8 is virtually maintenance
free. Only 6 1/4" dia. x 60" long and able to fit down wells,
it requires 6 ft. of water depth and must be vertically submerged.
The plastic and stainless steel construction is kept buoyant
in its operating position by a sealed cavity. You simply anchor it to
the bottom (with about 80 lbs. of weight, it gets buoyant when filled
with air), and attach the hoses to the windmill. It can also be hooked
up to an existing compressor. The water pump features a 3 3/4" enlarged
filler hole for faster filling. The water intake is protected by a galvanized
screen to prevent debris from getting into the pump. A new secondary
float releases the air pressure, creating a faster cycle time. |
